Incredible vintage Hermes scarf, Made in France model Vinci designed by Françoise Héron in 1958 and offered here in its Special issue of 1974 for the 100th Anniversary of Piaget. Rare item in superb condition, only then care tag is missing.
The arabesque is obtained by the arrangement of wavy, swirling lines.
The knots composed of intertwined ropes, well known by the Leonardo DaVinci drawings, dating from the end of the 15th century, copied by Dürer around 1505-1507 and engraved on wood before 1521, are a perfect example of the intertwining and arabesque.
It will enjoy a collector of vintage and limited scarves.
