This book accompanies the exhibition “Fierce and fragile, felines in the work of Robert Dallet” produced by Hermès in collaboration with the Panthera foundation and presented for the first time from January 10 to March 13, 2016, at the Bruce Museum in Greenwich Connecticut , in the United States, then in Paris at the National Museum of Natural History from May 03, 2016, Munich, Zurich, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Bombay.
Painter and illustrator, Robert Dallet (1923-2006) dedicated his whole life to the study and representation of wild fauna and big cats. This selection of original watercolors and sketches pays tribute to the talent and sensitivity of the naturalist who has worked for the Hermès house for a long time.
