The "Cheval Cabriolet" design featuring a horse, its harnesses and wheels, started with a stamp made by Gianpaolo Pagni. The horse's silhouette was inspired by an image from the Lupis Freres Saddlery catalogue dated back to July 1904, this catalogue is also apart of the Emile Hermès collection. Gianpaolo Pagni updated the design elements to create a fun, quirky story, on a new fine jacquard material.
