Based on the design of the Grand Apparat square. This drawing shows different pieces of ceremonial harness, and mainly harnesses, ornaments intended for parades and festivities. The luxury of these gala harnesses, in embossed leather, bordered with fringes or braid, enhanced with bronze elements, laurel leaves, royal emblems, coats of arms, indicates the nobility of the person being transported and the importance of the event. Held in place by pyramidal nails and soutaches, the central painting is inspired by the design of a harnessed horse intended for a car project for the coronation of Louis XVIII.
