Ugo Gattoni invites us into a fantastical city populated by small, strangely human horses. At the foot of an imaginary pyramid reminiscent of the Tower of Babel, a multitude of characters roam through a futuristic cityscape aboard hovering shuttles, flying boats and galloping aircrafts. Inspired by the Mexican folklore that is so dear to him, the artist punctuates this exuberant metropolis with a musician in a sombrero, a traditional dancer, and cacti.

Ugo Gattoni nous invite au cœur d’une cité fantasmagorique peuplée de petits chevaux étrangement humains. Au pied d’une pyramide imaginaire qui évoque la tour de Babel, une foule bigarrée sillonne une architecture futuriste à bord de navettes aériennes, de barques volantes ou d’avions au galop. L’artiste s’est inspiré du folklore mexicain qu’il affectionne : musicien couvert d’un sombrero, danseuse traditionnelle et cactus ponctuent cette exubérante métropole.
