Hermes [C17] 2019 Azur Blue Red PERSPECTIVE II by AM Cassandre Twill 90cm NWT!

Lovely Modern Hermes twill scarf, model Perspective II designed by Cassandre in 1951. Here is the last re issue. 

Cassandre was a French painter, graphic designer and theatrical set designer, he created numerous advertising posters in the 1930s. His Art Deco, pared-down approach became instantly recognizable; a stylized, almost abstract graphic signature, with large flat tints of color and a remarkable sense of composition. "Perspective" is a true embodiment of his style, a rising trajectory reveals a distant landscape of cloudy skies and an optical effect irresistibly draws the eyes into the scarf's center. This design lends multiple meanings to the word "perspective", in the dynamic sense of taking flight into space and in the symbolic sense of projecting into the future.
